
IT Giant Wipro Introduces Lab45 AI platform To Compete on GenAI Solutions

The AI platform in Lab45, Wipro's innovation lab, is accessible to all of the company's clients and approximately 230,000 employees.
“We have seen users benefit with productivity and efficiency gains of up to 30% across industries,” Subha Tatavarti, chief technology officer at Wipro, told ET.
She stated that Wipro has developed approximately 2,000 AI client use cases, but she did not specify the total number at the production stage at this time. Multiple large language models (LLMs) and other providers' models are supported by the Lab45 AI platform. “It allows for integration of language and visual processing for generating images from text prompts, as well as the ability to index, parse, and summarise content,” Wipro said in a statement.
With more than 1,000 GenAI specialists and in excess of 10 GenAI applications, the stage offers pre-assembled applications of no code and low code for HR, sales, marketing, and activities capabilities, while additionally considering simple making of industry-explicit GenAI specialists and applications, it added.
“We are excited about the transformative impact this platform will have across the business, particularly in HR, sales, marketing, and other business functions. Our platform will help our customers innovate faster while balancing privacy and responsible AI,” Tatavarti said.
